The original and still the best… the Quest Screen House
This is the new mini version of the original and best Quest Screen House, the original One-Person, One-Minute-to-pitch shelter. It’s designed to be pitched by one person and is so easy that it takes less than one minute. It easily gets awarded the single-person-pitch logo, so much so that is also gets awarded the 60-seconds-to-erect logo. There is nothing to put together when you pitch the screen house, it’s as simple as :
Take the screen house out of the bag and place the centre hub on the floor.
Let the sides fall down.
Walk around the outside pulling each side towards you and it pops into place.
Walk inside the screen house and push the roof up until it pops all the way.
That is it – you have pitched the screen house. You are now ready to peg and to put in the door poles (two fibreglass poles that give the doorway extra rigidity in the wind).
The mini is a smaller version of the Screen House 4, it’s 145 x 145cm in size, the roof is 140-160cm high and, thanks to the smaller size, is a much smaller pack size and easier to carry. It transforms the Screen House from a shelter to the perfect beach shelter, fishing bivi or small festival/park hideaway.
The sides and roof of the screen house mini are the excellent very lightweight Quest Tec75D fabric. This fabric is extremely light, making the Screen House Mini very lightweight, but also easy to clean and quick drying.
The sides have vents located across the bottom of the unit. These use the excellent no-chill Pro mesh which allows air flow, but stops the wind, wind chill and insects.
The Screen House Mini also has a built-in PE floor. This gives the Screen House 4 Mini extra structure and strength and gives protection from the ground. The floor is over-sized so also gives you a covered area to the front of the Screen House Mini.
The fabric has a modern coating applied to it. This coating helps protect you and the Screen House itself. First you get a great U.V. 50+ protection factor, giving you peace of mind, especially if those little ones are using it to keep out of the sun. This same coating also helps protect the screen house – protecting it from the sun’s rays helps it last longer and fade less.
Only Quest Screen Houses have the Premium Hub System which is on its 5th generation. This is the heart of the system and is extremely reliable, extremely durable and lasts for years. Quest test theirs by taking them to shows, where they’re used all day long and go up and down, up and down, all the way through the show. At the NEC Caravan and Camping Show each model goes through 10 years’ worth of usage in that single week and Quest’s test models do countless shows. This system is excellent and lasts. Even if there is an unlikely accident, Quest try to ensure that any part can be replaced, so if you do manage to break one you can get it replaced, rather than having to throw it away and start again.
